The Capital City River Run is excited to offer a coached half marathon training program this year, brought to you by PNC Bank!
Join the #RunWithPNC team and train for your best race with the support of a running coach and motivation from your teammates. We'll be building endurance and speed together, meeting for online workshops, and high fiving each other all summer long.

A 12 week half marathon training program for the Capital City River Run of 5-6 workouts per week, including easy runs, speed work, long runs, and cross training. All running workouts can be modified for walk/run intervals.
One on one text support from Coach Raquel Neto for answers to all of your training questions
Weekly emails from your coach about what you'll be doing and why.
Team kickoff and pre-race calls with Coach Raquel, as well as monthly workshops and coach office hours for all your training questions.
A team chat group for high fives, training questions, and bonus motivation.
The Bird app to follow the training plan, track your progress, and communicate with your coach and team.
Beginner and intermediate runners looking to increase endurance, speed and confidence for race day. This plan is appropriate for runners training for their first half marathon, or looking to improve their time. All workouts are effort-based and can be modified for run/walk intervals. Please note, this plan starts with a long run of 5 miles in week one. You should be comfortable running or run/walking four days a week and up to 5 miles (even if it's slow!) at the beginning of the plan.
