An 18 week training program of 5 workouts per week, including easy runs, speed work, long runs, and cross training. All running workouts can be modified for walk/run intervals.
Weekly emails from your coach about what you'll be doing and why.
Team kickoff and pre-race calls with Coach Shane, as well as monthly workshops on everything from hydration to mental prep.
Group chat with your colleagues on the team for high fives, training questions, and bonus motivation.
The option to work with Coach Shane one on one for personalized training and weekly advice and support via text when you join Bird.
The Bird app to follow the training plan, track your progress, and communicate with your coach and team.
Beginner and intermediate runners looking to increase endurance, speed and confidence for race day. This plan is appropriate for runners training for their first marathon, or looking to improve their time. All workouts are effort-based and can be modified for run/walk intervals. Please note, this plan starts with a long run of 6 miles in week one. You should be comfortable running or run/walking four days a week and up to 6 miles (even if it's slow!) at the beginning of the plan.
