Whether youโ€™re a seasoned marathoner or just getting started, staying motivated isn't always easy. But when you've got a supportive group at your side to hold you accountable, running is always more fun AND gets you better results!ย ย 

Bird has teamed up with Run Your State to bring you the Running Motivation Club - four weeks of fun, movement, and cheering each other on as we work toward our own goals. Weโ€™re your virtual running buddies - a group of everyday runners like you looking for motivation and accountability on our running journeys.

We welcome runners and runners-to-be of all shapes, sizes, and colors to the Club! Whether you're just starting out or getting back into running, these four weeks are all about making time for yourself and building a running habit you can keep up all year long.

The Running Motivation Club Includes:

  • A 4 week training program for runners and run/walkers at all levels, including 3 runs and 2 strength workouts per week. Every running workout has beginner, intermediate, and advanced options and can be modified for your needs! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

  • Weekly reflections on your goals and a group chat with other Club members to share and motivate each other. ๐Ÿ˜˜

  • Daily text support from your certified coach Layne Pace and 2 live coaching calls per month to answer all your questions. ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

The Running Motivation Club comes with the Bird app, where we will be tracking workouts, asking questions, and high fiving! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

Longest run in the books in well over a year today ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป I signed up for a January (Virtual) Run Club because 1. What else do you do in Chicago in January and 2. Itโ€™s fun to set new and short fitness goals to keep things fresh and to keep from getting bored. 3. Running in the snow makes you feel like a badass I canโ€™t recommend @bird_coach enough. Next month Iโ€™ve signed up for an Accountability Club because Chicago Februaryโ€™s suck and I know Iโ€™ll need a little extra push.

Years ago, I used to participate (run/walk) in 5ks to half marathons, but itโ€™s been at least 5 years since my last one. I joined the Bird Running Group to help motivate me and to have some accountability to get moving again. The January run club was the perfect fit! All the coaches were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! The guidance and weekly run plans were clear and provided you with specific instructions for beginners, intermediates, and experts. I was impressed and excited at how far Iโ€™d come from the beginning to the end of the program! The regular text check-ins and weekly virtual happy hours were the accountability that I was looking for and demonstrated that the coaches really cared about helping you get to where you wanted to be in the program. I canโ€™t wait to sign up for more of the Bird programs!
