Congrats on signing up for a trail marathon! As you probably have guessed, it will be very different from a regular marathon and you'll need trail-specific training to be ready for 26.2 miles on race day.

Coach Shane Williams is an experienced ultramarathoner who will help you build mileage, power, and speed for faster and stronger trail running over 11 weeks.

The Trail Marathon team includes:

  • An 11 week training plan of trail runs, speed work, strength and agility workouts to give you the endurance and stability you'll need on varied terrain.

  • Text support from Shane Williams every week for advice and motivation

  • Live coaching calls twice a month to discuss gear, nutrition, workouts, and everything else about trail running

Who should join:

Intermediate and advanced trail runners looking to increase speed and endurance for a trail marathon this season. You should be comfortable running 12 miles on trails at the start of the plan. If you're starting from less mileage or are newer to trail running, consider joining the Trail Half team or working with Coach Shane on a custom plan.
